I’m 53, married to the best wife ever, and we have two daughters. She understands why I want to travel, and I’m looking forward to having her join me for parts of future trips.
I enjoy hiking and backpacking, although a motorcycle accident, knee replacement, and ongoing trouble with my leg have made them harder. I still want to get outside and do what I can.
I work remotely in the corporate world. That flexibility makes it possible to take my work on the road, with travel and exploring planned around my workday.
This is my first extended trip living and working from a trailer. I’m learning about towing, campsites, power, water, and how the work setup performs away from home. The Desk Out There is my journal of that experience.
